phototransistor which provides a pulse output with frequency proportional to wind speed<br \/>Combined with high performance shielded bearings ensure excellent linearity, over the whole range of measure and high reliability on different temperature-humidity conditions. Low moment of inertia, low-threshold, fast response and low distance constant are guaranteed.<br \/>The variety of outputs suit most data loggers on market.<\/p>\n<h3>Wind vane SD8<\/h3>\n<p>Consist of one aluminium and steel wind vane attached to a shaft that incorporates a diametric magnet that actuates on a rotary position sensor giving an output equivalent to the direction indicated by the wind vane.<br \/>As there is not mechanical contact, there is not friction and so a high life expectancy<br \/>A low-threshold and fast response are guaranteed.<br \/>The variety of outputs suit most data loggers on market.<\/p>\n<h3>Environment<\/h3>\n<p>Sensors body is Al-Si aluminium injection moulded and rust preventive painted.<br \/>M12 IP65 polarizing connectors are equipped for an easier operation.<\/p>\n<h3>Bearings<\/h3>\n<p>Both sensors are composed of stainless steel, shielded bearings, which give them excellent dynamic characteristic with very low mechanical friction.<\/p>\n<h3>Heating<\/h3>\n<p>Optionally both sensors could be provided of internal heating system, in order to avoid bearings and shaft freezing.
