Overview<\/h3>\n

System designed for the meteorological assistance to winter road maintenance and local and general weather forecasting.
Includes all the facilities provided by today\u2019s technology as for data and communications security.<\/p>\n

General features<\/h3>\n

Systems deployed are modular and can be extended to meet any specific needs.
Due to the versatility of Seac products, along with selected third-party ones, another road safety risk factors are possible to be evaluated, as for example wind on bridges and viaducts, risk of slipping, etc.<\/p>\n

Thermal mapping<\/h3>\n

By using mobile stations with air temperature and humidity sensors along with infrared road temperature sensor, thermal mapping is carried out in real time, sending data and position to a control centre.
Fixed and mobile stations help to make local weather conditions forecasting and advising on the need of spreading salt on roads.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Hermes is an application for real time and asynchronous communication with meteorological stations and its subsequent data processing.<\/p>\n

Easy handling<\/h3>\n

After the system installation, the user registers in his database the stations of his networks; sets the connection means; data acquisition timing and stores locally the station\u2019s configuration.
This configuration can be modified at any moment, because of changes in the number or type of sensors, means of communication with the stations, etc.<\/p>\n

Data acquisition<\/h3>\n

The application makes automatically calls to the stations in the background, logging any incident happened along this process.
It is possible to visualize real time data of those stations with permanent connection and change its operating parameters. The rest of the stations can be accessed manually to get stored data, display data in real time, change parameters, etc.<\/p>\n

Data storing<\/h3>\n

Historical data are stored in a data base and can be exploited in text or graphic form.
The data base is generic regarding the time intervals and can coexist data of stations with different storing time intervals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Alarm generation<\/h3>\n

Data collected by the stations can be subjected to control levels, warning automatically when any level is exceeded.
The application can be set to send an e-mail or SMS if the operator does not attend to the alarm.<\/p>\n

Communications<\/h3>\n

The application controls different means of communication with the stations, this is: analog mdems, GSM, TCP\/IP, GPRS etc.<\/p>\n

Data backup<\/h3>\n

Data input in local data base can also be carried out by reading the pendrive external memories of the stations. By doing so, data of remote stations without communications are included into the data base.<\/p>\n

Displays<\/h3>\n

The information gathered in real time from the stations can be displayed in different terminals within the local area network.
